Accounting for An Artificial Intelligence World
Welcome to my website! I am Tony Lin and am currently an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Rowan University. I connect artificial intelligence, accounting, sustainability, and engineering to modernize business education and research, with an emphasis on evidence, systems, and practical impact.
Trained in both accounting and engineering, I was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration (Accounting) at Drexel University in 2020 and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, with a bioengineering emphasis, from the University of California, San Diego. In Fall 2024, the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants honored my teaching with its Ovation Award in the Exceptional Educator category.
My research examines how artificial intelligence and data analysis are reshaping accounting and business. When I am not teaching or researching, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children, or getting lost in a good book. Thank you for stopping by. I am glad you are here.
